See only what matters.
Search, isolate, hide, and show layers so a dense drawing stays readable. Every layer keeps its real color and state.
Fast CAD viewing · Web & mobile
Caddis opens certified subsets of DWG, DXF, STL, STEP and more locally — no CAD license or mandatory upload. Review layers, measure, mark up, and share on mobile or the web.
Everything review needs
Layers, measurement, and markup — the parts of CAD review you actually use, ready the moment a file opens.
Search, isolate, hide, and show layers so a dense drawing stays readable. Every layer keeps its real color and state.
Distance, area, perimeter, and angle — snapped to geometry and captured to your drawing's scale.
Notes, arrows, rectangles, and revision clouds live on their own layer, so review stays clear and portable.
Caddis starts local-first. Help us prioritize optional sync, secure storage, review links, and team workflows.
The viewer
Pan and pinch like paper. Snap to geometry. Lock the view before you hand it off. It behaves like the drawing itself, not like a file you happen to be looking at.
How it works
Tap a file on your phone or drop it in the browser. No account, no conversion, no wait.
Toggle layers, measure to scale, and mark up directly on the drawing.
Export a view or annotation file directly from your device.
Local-first by default
Caddis opens and reviews files entirely on-device. Cloud sync, source uploads, and share links are opt-in, per project — a local session is never quietly turned into a cloud project.
Format compatibility
STL and supported ASCII DXF/mesh geometry open locally. DWG, STEP/STP, IFC, and SolidWorks compatibility is limited to documented source subsets; unsupported geometry is rejected instead of replaced with a generated preview.
Every format below opens live in your browser.
Bring your next drawing into Caddis and see it render on the spot.
